A charming desk inkwell in Algerian onyx with gilt bronze appliqué decoration. The design features crossed torches and quivers held by ribbons. The lid is adorned with a laurel wreath. Dating from the Napoleon III period, this piece is in a composite style, blending Louis XVI and Empire influences. There is some minor wear to the gilding. Dimensions: 11.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 cm
