Beautiful Large Nuremberg Safe Key, 17th Century, Signifying Bit

Superb key of these large iron chests which made the reputation of the Nuremberg locksmith, it turned in a dome fixed to the lid, superbly openwork and inviolable. Pointed ring, to open the security latch of lock cover, powerful ring, good in hands, joining in a triangle a 8-sided base, hollow stem, bit pierced of open and closed holes, with imperial significance (Holy Empire), it seems to me, but I am not enough of an expert.

Good condition, a little twisted, I had it straightened, it is well done.
