Leducq Marcel Michel Edouard Marie (1879-1955) was a French sculptor active in the period between the 1920s and 1930s.
His masters were Mercié and Peter. He participated in the Salon des Artistes Français
and was awarded a “Mention Honorable” in 1909.
He was a sculptor of animals, expressing power and agility typical of the Art Deco period.
The sculpture proposed here is in antimony, a zinc-based alloy.
