Louis XV style gray Ardennes marble fireplace, carved in the 19th century, in a marble with numerous white calcite concretions which gives it a real luminosity. Its slightly scalloped top, like its lintel, decorated with a palmette, a mirror in its center and surrounded by acanthus, rest on straight jambs. A generous torus runs along its hearth line. Its floor slab has been restored, its central panel in veined white marble replaced. The footprint of the whole, fireplace and floor slab, is 150.7 cm for 65.2 cm depth.
