Beautiful work by the French symbolist painter François Étienne Lahaye which represents a view of the Calanques of Piana in Corsica in the early morning. The foreground shows us the typical pine trees of the Corsican calanque. The second plane takes our eyes to the horizon, the nuances of color and the play of light in the sky.
Insatiable traveler in Europe and the Mediterranean basin in search of striking landscapes. Corsica and Provence in particular were his favorite places.
