Miniature camera Super ELJY LUMIERE circa 1949. LYPAR F: 3.5 lens Miniature camera, using a specific, non-perforated film, giving negatives of 24 x 36 mm. It measures only 78 x 42 x 40 mm and weighs 150 grams. The camera is made of stamped metal, partially covered with a synthetic sheath. Rare in its original box. With only three models, the ELJY remained present in the Lumière catalog for almost 25 years, from 1937 to 1960. The name is the phonetic contraction of Lyon Joinville (LJ). After having made cinematographs known, the Lumière brothers from Lyon joined forces with the Jougla company from Paris (1911) to manufacture plates and films. Link to the site
