Large 19th Century Patinated Bronze Vase
This sumptuous, richly decorated neoclassical-style patinated bronze vase. Amphora-shaped, it rests on a square base decorated with foliate motifs. The body of the vase is decorated in relief with a scene depicting three putti reading or drawing around a large book. Floral garlands, mascarons, and scrolls adorn the rim, highlighting the finesse of the work. The handles are sculpted in the shape of classical figures and end in stylized floral motifs, typical of the late 19th century.
