Beautiful snuff box, a shaker, or Austrian black powder horn, it is an airtight bottle, a section of bovine horn in which contours have been carved, and engraved rosette, hatching, threads and this impressive date on lid; it is closed by two horn plates which are horn pegged and base nailed of iron. A turned horn spout screws on, closed by a small carved wooden stopper. 12.5cm x 8cm x 5.5cm, weight: 100g
