"Ceramic Dish Signed Marc Roussel Representing A Sailboat, 20th Century Period"
Glazed ceramic wall plate with a relief decoration of a three-masted sailing ship cutting through the waves under a cloudy sky. The central subject is treated with deliberately stylized graphics, in the spirit of Marc Roussel's free and expressive productions during the second half of the 20th century. The scalloped border, enhanced with blue and wave-shaped motifs, dynamically frames the scene. Presents a slight enamel jump at the edge, without weakening the piece.
