"14th Century - Lead Pilgrim Badge - "sanctus Adrianus""
Pilgrim badge depicting Saint Adrian. Dating back to the 14th century and made of lead, it is in excellent readable condition, with the face, attributes (crown and halo) and armour splendidly enjoyable. The insignia with the writing in Gothic characters “Adrianus” is also legible and well preserved, although the writing “Sanctus” is missing. It has two restored breaks as visible in the rear photo. An exceptional piece that, despite having suffered the signs of time, is in good readable and enjoyable condition, retaining its distinctive and peculiar signs. Dim. cm 5.2 x 2.7
