Transformed into blackened wooden mirrors, this pair has a rich architectural decoration of a pediment, columns, applied decoration of brass and silver, foliage, mascarons, putti, flowers and scrolls.
The pieces are placed on curved front feet, balls at the back. A work from northern Italy or southern Germany, from the 17th century / 18th
Dimensions height of 65 cm by 27 cm wide and 8 cm deep.
On the back there are old episcopal wax seals.
Some small losses - old woodworm holes - a slightly unbalanced monstrance
