France, circa 1830 Pair of goblets or compotiers of the ''à draperies moulées'' model, reproduced in the Baccarat sales catalog, circa 1840, and based on a model made in Le Creusot during the Restoration. The pair rests on high circular bases with pastille and molded drapery motifs. The upper rim is gadrooned. The pedestal is faceted, and the curved body repeats the motifs of the pedestal.
