"Octagonal Gold Box, First Part Of The 19th Century"
Octagonal hinged 18-carat gold box. The base and lid are bordered by a frieze of scrolls framing a central motif of the same shape and made up of lines radiating from a rounded central motif. The sides are made up of eight panels striated with parallel lines and framed at the corners by geometric motifs and garlands at the top. Quality rework in the soldering of the lid.
