Pair Of Candelabra In Gilded Bronze And Patina. Restoration Period.
Very beautiful pair of candelabra in patinated and gilded bronze from the Restoration period. Each composed of a winged angel, in patinated bronze resting on a sphere and holding in one hand a torch from which the three arms of light spring. The gilded bronze sockets are finely chiseled with scales. The side arms decorated with flowers and foliage turned into a volute are arranged symmetrically around the third central arm decorated with stylized plant motifs. The whole rests on a vase-shaped base decorated with the same decoration of scales and palmettes and a square counter base in patinated bronze.
