"Reproduction Of A 17th Century Drawing Around 1800 "
Beautiful sketch based on a 17th century drawing in the Louvre, by a good hand at the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. It is customary for students to take up the works of the ancients, absolute models of the course which finds its culmination in the Prix de Rome. Treated quickly, the student shows obvious qualities. It was framed about fifty years ago, in an old gilded baguette (some accidents to the gilding). Dimensions of the drawing: 15 cm x 20 cm
