Small terrestrial globe or world map (14 cm high), signed J. Lebègue & Cie* Paris, on a blackened wooden base, from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. This globe is in good general condition. Signed, see photos. Please note: some accidents (and restorations?) on the globe, some shocks and scratches, yellowing and wear of time, see photos. * J. Lebègue & Cie was a famous Brussels publishing house in the 19th century which then opened a commercial branch in Paris. For the publication of terrestrial globes, they worked in close collaboration with the geographer R. Barbot.
