Small Silver Ciborium, France XVIII Century
Small silver ciborium, resting on a circular base with a rounded, smooth, and undecorated terrace. The shaft, fitted with two collars, supports a flattened circular bowl with a hinged lid surmounted by a cross. The interior of the bowl is gilded.
Origin: France, late 18th century.
Letter dated: 1789, Parisian work.
Hallmarks: present on the base, lid, and bowl.
Master silversmith's mark: difficult to read.
