Large architectural project of the School of Fine Arts, presenting a monumental portico in polychrome marble and stone, with bronze doors richly decorated with festoons and trophies, flanked by sculptures on pedestals, surmounted by coats of arms framed by allegories. The whole supports a large basket-handle arch behind which a vast nave with lateral lunettes is outlined. The drawing is done in pencil, ink, wash, and watercolor on paper. Please note that the work is not under glass. An interesting and representative testimony of the end of the 19th century / the very beginning of the 20th century and its taste for architectural eclecticism, in addition to being very decorative. Very good general condition. A large format: Overall: 102x84 cm On view: 88x65 cm
