Earthenware plate from Les Islettes, circa 1800. It features a black and white rabbit design resting on a grassy terrace, framed by stylized foliage in bright shades of green and pink. The border is decorated with the traditional pink combed pattern, typical of the Islettes productions at this time. This type of animal design is emblematic of the popular earthenware of the Grand-Est region. This model is featured in the collections of several regional museums dedicated to French earthenware.
