Mazarine table or Louis XIII style desk in blackened wood veneer, opening with a belt drawer. Ivory inlays and rosewood marquetry. Four twisted legs and H-shaped spacer. Work inspired by the marquetry decorations of Pierre Gole (1620-1684), cabinetmaker to Louis XIV. Napoleon III period.
