Circa 1960 - 1970, England. Missing one eye. Dimitri Omersa was born in Yugoslavia. He came to England in 1955 where he found work in the leather trade. When he took over the small leather business from the retiring owner, he expanded the range of leather pig beanbags to include elephants, donkeys, and rhinos. The animals were stocked by Abercrombie and Fitch in the 1960s-80s. The range of leather beanbags expanded to 37 animals.
