Lamp composed of a multi-layer glass paste shade with floral decoration, signed Muller Frères. The glass features acid-etched cameo work on an opaline background, in contrasting tones of black, blue, and white. The wrought iron base, resting on four spherical feet, is worked in a hammered and ribbed style, evoking the creations of the Nancy school, in the style of Brandt. The whole is fully in line with the Art Nouveau aesthetic, combining artistic glassware and artistic ironwork.
