Finely chiseled gilt bronze wall clock from the Parisian watchmaker Prosper Roussel. It is topped with a closed vase and four pine cones. It is also decorated with acanthus leaf carvings and a large drapery. The white enameled dial indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals with two finely openwork hands. This timepiece ends with a palmette, foliage, and a goddess mask.
