Court sword from the LOUIS XV period, 18th century. Iron mount entirely pierced, pommel, joint arc, quillon & ricasso, bivalve shell. Globular pommel with rivets. Filigree, bladed and braided fuse. Straight triangular blade, strong at the heel tapering towards the hollow-sided point.
