Collection of 4 19th century intaglios and cameos, standing out against a background simulating red porphyry marble, in a Napoleon III period pressed horn palmette frame. Each intaglio is unique, with antique busts and subjects. Beautiful refined object typical of the souvenirs of the Grand Tour, an aristocratic educational journey across Europe taken by young men from the highest classes of European society from the 17th to the 19th century. Ideal to complete a 19th century neoclassical decoration with one of those small details that create an authentic atmosphere. In very good condition, composed of old elements, the whole works very well and naturally. Frame dimensions 12.2 cm by 13.3 cm
