Louis XVI period clock ormolu bronze, white &  blue turquin marble. Parisian work from the Louis XVI period, early 1780s. The dial is signed by Couturier in Paris. Étienne Claude Couturier master clockmaker in 1768.

The clock is an allegory, it represents the temple of blind Love, who is the guardian of time. It is protected by a beautiful blown glass bell resting on a gilded wooden base.

Excellent condition, the clock is complete, it works. It will be sold after being serviced and cleaned by our clockmaker. It has its key.
