Very beautiful creation by the Maison Charder of Charles Schneider (1881 - 1953) French Art Deco master glassmaker.
After his studies in Nancy and his collaboration with the house of Daum, he created the company Le Verre Français in 1913 known as Verreries Schneider, in Epinay sur Seine. In 1925, it had no less than 500 employees and was internationally recognized.
This vase is a very beautiful example of the impressive and rare Rhododendrons series, created in 1927 then stopped in 1928.
Vase in multi-layered acid-etched glass presenting three rhododendrons on a marbled background. White powdered glass lined with pink powdered glass, released orange then grading purple towards the bottom. Superb floral acid etching, reworked on the wheel on the details of the decoration.
