Shunko Deshima is a Japanese painter, illustrator, engraver and lithographer, active in Paris in the first half of the twentieth century. Deshima is one of the emblematic figures of Montparnasse during the Roaring Twenties, just like his compatriot Foujita. He has a refined style where the traditions of Japanese art still prevail over.
