"Enameled Copper Bowl. China, 18th Century."
Large hammered copper bowl with a hexagonal lobed shape, covered with famille rose enamels. Chinese symbols are depicted, painted with the greatest care. Traces of beautiful mercury gilding remain on the unglazed copper parts. Underneath, Chinese characters are partly erased. This bowl has been restored, but having bought it this way, we do not know the extent of the damage. However, they are neither numerous nor significant. We can take photos with a wood lamp on request. Diameter 210mm Height: 105mm
