"Antique Candle Holders Angel-shaped Lacquered Wood XVIII Century"
Pair of angels from the Baroque period, resting on bases decorated with characteristic curlicue motifs and putti heads; the two figures are depicted in a mirrored position, one arm raised to hold the support for the candle. The lacquering and gilding were resumed in the second half of the 19th century.
