A pair of polychrome porcelain sculptures depicting allegories. The sculptural rendering of the bodies and garments is extraordinary, enriched with hand-crafted decorative motifs and small touches of pure gold, especially on the edges of the bases and the trim of the garments. The mark attributable to Edmé Samson's manufacture is in underglaze blue and appears only on the base of one of the sculptures.
