50 original illustrations by Sylvain SAUVAGE engraved on copper in color and printed by Paul Haasen (Frontispiece, engraved title with vignette, 3 large headings, 18 large in-texts, 1 tailpiece in Volume I - Frontispiece, engraved title with vignette, 2 large headings, 20 large in-texts, 1 tailpiece and an outside-text serving as a final tailpiece in Volume II).

Printed in 175 numbered copies, all on Montval paper.

Here, 1 of the 40 deluxe copies (No. 33) with original pencil drawing enhanced with watercolor (the one reproduced in the frontispiece of Volume I), signed top right, and a black and white suite with remarks under separate folders (small tear at the bottom of the lower joint of one of them).
