Superb gilt bronze clock with the theme of the miracle child, signed Auguste Marchand bronzier and Lesieur horloger. This clock relates the birth of Henri de Bourbon, heir to the throne of France, on September 20, 1820, 7 months after the assassination of his father the Duke of Berry. He is in the arms of his mother Marie Caroline de Bourbon Sicily, in the presence of his sister Marie Therese.
This clock presents an exceptional quality of gilding, perfectly preserved.
The movement is original, wire suspension. it is in working order.
