Circa 1850ProvenceBeautiful small Provençal Boutis or Petassoun embossed dating from the beginning of the Second Empire period. Running stitching on two layers of very fine white cotton, stuffed with cotton strands forming the decoration. Design with double central medallions on a vermiculated background with obliquely worked boutis. Crenellated borders finished with a white cotton bias. It is reversible and has been delicately cleaned. Clean without holes or stains. Very good condition.Dimensions: 44 cm x 42 cm
