Interesting architectural study by an Italian school from the late 16th – 17th centuries which is reminiscent of a series of drawings belonging to the graphic arts cabinet of the Louvre attributed to Sebastiano Vini (1530 – 1602) and Jacopo Zucchi (1541 – 1589), a student of Vasari.
Note the presence of the initial (monogram?) “S” drawn in pen in the vertical direction at the bottom right.
