Large and Beautiful Serving Dish in Solid Silver in the Empire Style hallmarked by the Parisian Master Goldsmith Louis Coignet. It also bears his Hallmarks with the head of Minerva of the 1st Title. Beautiful border decorated with a laurel frieze. Louis Coignet practiced between 1893 and 1928 at 20 Rue Barbette in the 3rd arr of Paris. He was the son and successor of Charles Alfred Coignet (also a goldsmith). Length: 42 cm width: 28 cm Weight: 974g Very good condition.
