Boxwood Turning, 19th Century, 2 Treens, Pear-shaped Culbuto Flask
Artist: Art Populaire
Two charming boxwood turnings, 19th century period, each in beautiful patina.
a pear-shaped powder bottle, pleasant in hand, reveals a sprinkler, closing with a bell-shaped screw cap. You try to roll it in vain: it somersaults, and always ends up upright on its concave bottom. It is in very good condition, 11cm x 6.5cm.
A small model, probably a "touine", a reserve of snuff, stands upright on a round foot, is filled on upper third by a screw thread, and distributes tobacco through a small neck closed by a long turned cap. Small crack, barely visible. (red arrow), dimensions: 10cm x 4.5cm.
This lot, not separable, is for immediate purchase, payable by credit card or paypal.
