Pair Of Antique Cache-pots In Braided Silver-plated Metal
Made from thick braided brass strips, these two cache-pots of fine craftsmanship (Italian or French, but no brand is affixed to allow us to attribute them) can be dated to the 1970s of the last century.
Inside each of them, a brass tray retains the moisture of the pot. Originally, these items were silver-plated, and traces of the original silver plating remain, but with use, much of the silver plating has worn away, leaving some traces in the interstices of the braid.
A third identical cache-pot is available, which we sell separately, as it is more worn in the silver plating and lacks the inner tray.
