"Antique Mourning Shawl In Silk"
Antique shawl in fine black damask silk, adorned with a damask-woven floral pattern discernible through the interplay of matte and glossy weaves. The shawl is edged on all four sides with a long 20 cm fringe.
Condition : overall well preserved.
Fabric : to the eye and in transparency, no notable flaws despite its extreme fineness; only one or two minute weak spots allow light to pass through.
Fringes : the ends are slightly tousled.
