"Furniture Top Old Doily In Lace Pizzo Di Orvieto 95.5x45 Cm"
Hand-crocheted placemat, very early XXs, in very fine beige cotton thread. It is a typical Italian lace known as Pizzo d'Orvieto, the technique is the same as the most famous Irish lace, but the patterns are different.I only found one tiny defect, a loose flange, see last photos.
For the rest the placemat is in excellent condition and has no restorations,
