Rare "you and me" coffee cup in St Clément earthenware by Emile Gallé. Very original and rich decoration for this "you and me" in earthenware. We find this famous Imari pattern with these very Japanese blue, orange and gold colors that Émile Gallé had made a specialty of during his time at the St Clément earthenware factory. We find a woman kneeling at the water's edge, pagoda houses and many flowers, all different on each cup. Asymmetrical shapes in the shape of clouds and openwork for the saucers, in the purest Japanese style. Each piece is signed, created in the 1870s by Gallé.
