"Copper Mold"
Domestic copper mold, 19th century period. Radiant pattern of 24 deep grooves alternating with flat gadroons, made from a single piece of metal. Structured in two parts: seen from the outside, a flared and concave portion bordered by a frieze of half spheres, the other convex portion. Original hanging ring, in brass, held by a riveted copper tab. Interior tinning with its wear. Slight dents and some traces of oxidation, the whole remains homogeneous with a beautiful patina of the copper. A piercing the size of a needle hole on the edge (indicated by an arrow on a detail photo) and a small piercing at the bottom almost in its center. Note: the frieze of half-spheres in high relief makes all the difference, a feat of the coppersmith craftsman. Delivery: €15 for mainland France.
