Roaring lion, mascot of the Peugeot automobile company and signed by M. Marx (1872-1956). Radiator cap type sculpture, in silvered bronze and mounted on a rosewood base. Very good condition with some very slight traces of oxidation. Signed on the rock M. Marx (Maurice Roger Marx) and hidden from the Foundry F. Camus, Paris.
