Imposing portico clock from the Restoration period around 1820 signed on the dial "Sézille Palais royal n°132 Paris", clockmaker referenced in the Tardy, dictionary of French clockmakers. Architecture in red griotte marble of very fine quality decorated with mercury-gilded bronze with gold, very finely chiseled. Very large domed dial in white enamel underlined by a thick finely worked bezel. The space between the columns is occupied by a precision "Berthoud" pendulum.
Large original mechanism without modification, striking the hours and half-hours on an old bell.
