A commode in the form of a jump-front with a central projection, veneered in rosewood, amaranth, and stained boxwood, inlaid with ribbons and musical motifs.
It opens with two drawers without a central divider and rests on four cabriole legs. It features chased and gilt bronze mounts, including corner mounts, drawer pulls, keyhole escutcheons, and sabots.
Marble top. With its key. Transitional period. Circa 1770. Excellent condition.
