Pewter BOWL, with console ears and a nippled lid with mushroom grip, fully engraved on the ears of two lambs, on the lid with leafy scrolls. Hallmarking: on the bowl: hallmark of Pierre Gaspard LAMARE received master in 1767: crowned hammer / PGL
On the lid:
1° - ditto above.
2° - control hallmark: crowned F / 86 / R.
Length: 30.5 cm

Partial wear of the lid engraving and perfectly executed consolidation of one of the ears
In Rouen, the 1691 regulation relating to control was respected much better than in most other centers of the Kingdom, which allows precise dating of objects bearing it.
