Pair Of Large 18th Century Puttis In Carved Wood
Lovely pair of carved wooden puttis from the 18th century, old work and of good quality, the patina is superb and very brown. The position of their arms suggests that they must have once supported something. The whole is well preserved, traces of old restorations, I report a small lack on the thumb of one of the two, some cracks and wear to the patina.
