Clermont-ferrand 1787, Taste-vin, Solid Silver
Artist: Illisible
Very rare solid silver wine taster with Clermont-Ferrand hallmarks for the year 1787. Quite classic in shape with a handle formed by two intertwined snakes, it is quite heavy (120 grams) and large for its time. On the bottom are four hallmarks, a tree surrounded by the year (17)87, a discharge hallmark symbolizing a pear with two leaves, a large crowned O and then the goldsmith's hallmark whose initials are unfortunately illegible. The goldsmith's hallmark is also found on the ring, unfortunately just as illegible. On the side is engraved the name of its owner "P.Brasquios dit L. Brasquiès"
