" Clock Wall In Gilt Bronze Bozzo 1850"
Rare, high manufacture, stamped on the plate of the mechanism "Bozzo and Covernort in Angers", clockmaker referenced in the Tardy at the date of 1850, Napoleon III period. Large wall clock of very good quality, thick bronze architecture, covered with gold gilding. Gilded bronze finely chiseled with a large gadroon outline and a row of pearls, decorated at the top with an imposing ribbon and at its base with an acanthus leaf fabric ending with a pine cone.
Very large domed dial in white enamel accompanied by finely worked gilded hands, underlined by a guilloche bezel set with domed glass.
Original movement without modification, striking the hours and half-hours on an old bell.
The wall hook is thick and very solid.
