René BERGER, architect, chief architect of the Natural History Museum of Paris, active from 1900 to around 1950, he designed the second winter garden (1935-1937) and the Fauverie (1934-1937) for this institution. He designed and decorated the first Lido des Champs Élysées, inaugurated in 1928.
An architect with an Art Deco style, he designed numerous Parisian cafés, individual villas and social housing throughout his career.
